Retro and Original colorways both are hits in today’s sneaker world as both are consistently selling out and even reselling for high profits on the secondary market. This time, it appears that concept artists have taken inspiration from retro Air Jordan colors again and have flipped the color blocking, creating something pretty much entirely new in the process. It appears that the inspiration has been taken from the Air Jordan 4 Military Blue with its light blue hues with white hits. Presenting, the Air Jordan 4 Cloudy Blue!
Fewer shoes are still in demand, and as a consequence, they have a decent resale value. Even the very popular Air Jordan 1 sometimes doesn’t sell for the same price and isn’t as well-liked, especially if it’s not a unique colorway like the UNC or Bred. Many concepts for sneakers that resemble the Air Jordan 4 Military Blue but with slightly different hits, like the AJ4 Reverse Military, have recently surfaced. Now, artists have allegedly drawn inspiration from well-liked hues to create this Air Jordan 4 Cloudy Blue.
Coming to the design of this sneaker, it comes in a cloudy blue and white color scheme that is very reminiscent of the Military Blue Air Jordan 4 from 2012. The difference, however, is that the original features blue hits on the netted side panels, eyelets, and the midsoles and heel tabs while keeping the rest white. This concept starts off with blue toe boxes and mudguards that carry on over to the sides and to the rear. Above the toe boxes are white throats that are wrapped up in crisp white traditional laces and attached to 4 metallic blue eyelet panels and hooped through blue leather eye stays. Moving up, large blue leather tongues are contrasted by white tongue tags and blue Jump-Man branding.
Sock liners, on the other hand, are white and lead down to white interiors, likely ending with white or blue inserts with contrasting white or blue Jordan branding. The heel tabs, although not visible, are likely also blue with additional embossed Jump-Man branding. Side panels feature additional white netting with white leather triangular pieces overlaying them. Meanwhile, white midsoles with exposed Air Units and crisp white outsoles finish off the design.
