Louis Vuitton has had a busy year in 2022 as they collaborated with Nike on the Air Force 1 a number of times with one of the most highly anticipated sneakers ever. The Air Max 90 is a shoe that really does need more collaborations with high-end luxury brands as LV’s monogram design fits on it perfectly. The brown and tan hues also serve the paneling of this shoe well and that’s why a real-life collaboration will be so highly anticipated. The Louise Vuitton collaborations are also expensive but thankfully, it doesn’t cost a dime to admire this all-new Air Max 90 concept. Presenting, the Louis Vuitton x Air Max 90 Monogram Brown!
Luxury fashion houses and sportswear companies often see a lot of success with each other. The former uses its ability to craft high-quality materials and use its name to push regular products from sportswear companies and sell them for extremely high premiums. If the collaboration is done right, a hit collab such as this can be worth thousands over the retail price. The Dior Air Jordan collaboration is a good example of this as they retailed for only a couple of thousand dollars but resell for north of $10,000 per pair. The Recent Louis Vuitton x Air Force 1 pack which contains a number of colorways is also very valuable. The Monogram Brown AF1 colorway has resold for as high as $85,000 for one pair! That has probably inspired sneakers such as this LV x Air Max 90 Monogram Brown.
These sneakers feature a brown and light upper. Dark brown leather with tan LV patterns appears on the toes and on parts of the side panels. The mudguards, on the other hand, don an even darker shade of leather with dark brown “Air Max” tags. The toe boxes feature a dark beige or a light tan hue with matching lower leather eye stay panels. These eye stays get tucked underneath plastic dark brown eyelet panels. The throats are also a light tan hue that is wrapped up by traditional dark brown laces.
Tongues are light tan and feature dark brown tags that are detailed by light tan Nike Air branding. Matching dark brown sock liners and interiors provide further contrast to the lighter tones and likely lead down to matching inserts with dark brown branding. Heel pieces are also dark brown while cropped light tan Swooshes on the sides bring the shape together. Chocolate brown midsoles with exposed Air Units and matching rugged outsoles finish off the design. If interested in more concept art, keep it here!
