A Summer-Friendly Treat-The Air Force 1 Low Dark Tropical Twist

The Air Force 1 Low has long been a fan-favorite when it came to custom designs and concepts from artists all over the world and for good reason! Over the years, they’ve become cultural icons and canvases for one of the most attractive fictional colorways, including the trending matte black-backgrounded color scheme. Concept artists are treated to yet another masterpiece in the Nike Air Force 1 Low Black Tropical Twist. A colorway that we’ve seen various times this past week, such as on the recent Jordan 1 Mid.

Such Is this silhouette’s popularity that from the start of August up until now (August 21st) there have been over 10 new colorways for the Air Force 1 Low which is a staggeringly high number. These releases include multiple size exclusives, restocks, as well as a brand-new collaboration with UNDEFEATED. These numbers are evidence of the silhouettes sustaining popularity which has influenced the growing amount of concept art as well. From the Air Force 1 Low Panda to the China Town concepts, it appears we’ve seen it all, or have we? The Air Force 1 Low Dark Tropical Twist is an entirely new concept that’s bound to turn heads, and we must say, the silhouette wears it perfectly.

Uppers on this bold yet stealthy Air Force 1 is seemingly constructed with high-quality leather, customary to most Air Force 1 sneakers. Darkness shrouds the entire silhouette, ranging from the perforated toe boxes, scuff guards, eye stays, and the side panels to the heel overlays. Speaking of which, the side panels likely feature the highlight of the entire design which are vibrant Tropical Twist leather Swooshes on either side. This entire look is highly reminiscent of the recent Nike Dunk Low Light Bone Tropical Twist and the similarly monikered Air Jordan 1 Mid. However, the black base provided offers a contrast to the titular hue and presents it in all of its glory, unlike the aforementioned pairs.

Black throats wrapped up in matching black laces lead up to a pair of vibrant teal tongue tags with black “Nike Air” and “Air Force 1” branding. Black collar lining and matching interiors blend right in while the heel tabs also seemingly opt for the titular color tone. Lastly, black midsoles and bright Tropical Twist outsoles finish off the design. For more concept art to come, stay tuned!
