A Worthy Contender-The Air Force 1 Low Reverse Bred

The Air Force 1 Low has the potential to rock some very attractive colorways and a lot of the time, concept artists really hit it out of the park with their work. All it takes is a bit of imagination and it can go a long way, such as in this case of their brand-new concept. Presenting, the Nike Air Force 1 Low Reverse Bred. Bred is a combination of red and black and is one of the most hyped colorways among Jordan Brand and Nike’s portfolio. This concept in particular takes on the original’s color blocking and reverses it.

Around the world, the Air force 1 Low is probably one of the most recognizable sneakers to date. Not only are they extremely attractive on the feet, but their exposure to the public through various A-list celebrities has made them a staple for many fashion enthusiasts around the world. No one really even hoops in them anymore which is what they were originally meant for. Nike released them for performance initially but later on, figured out that these sneakers were more for lifestyle, thus started implementing more materials such as suede. Currently, the Air Force 1 Low is one of the most customized sneakers and is one of the most used for concept art as well.

Coming to the design of these sneakers, the uppers feature a black and red leather material, just as what you would expect from sneakers with a “Bred” moniker. Toes feature black leather that converges into the matching side panels with two ventilation holes and the matching heel overlays. The stitching around the shoe is also black and gives the sneakers a stealthy appearance overall. Toe boxes include typical perforations and sit underneath matching black eye stays.

These eye stays are contrasted by intertwined blazing red laces that wrap the shoe’s dark throats. At the bottom of the laces is a small lace ornament that’s found on most Air Force 1s and features “AF1” branding. Moving up, the tongues are also black and don contrasting red tags that are detailed by “Air Force 1” branding. Sock liners are also red, leading down to red interiors and likely also red or black inserts with additional branding. Swooshes feature more vibrant red leather that extends all the way to the black heel tabs. Red midsoles and titular red outsoles finish off the design.
