We have definitely seen a very similar colorway to this before and it was almost just as attractive and reminiscent of the original that pays homage to the University of North Carolina. Although that colorway was slightly different, this version 2 is closer to the original Air Force 1 Low that we are referring to and looks exactly like what a “reverse” of that sneakers would look like. Not only does this look pretty good, but it would also probably be worth above retail on the secondary market if ever implemented! Presenting, the Nike Air Force 1 Low Reverse University Blue V2!
The Air Force 1 has been around for a long time and part of the reason for that is how embedded the sneaker is in modern pop culture. You’ll find that a huge number of western celebrities have been spotted wearing a fresh pair of Air Force 1s and that further elevated the shoe’s status as a stylish option for almost anyone. Due to Nike’s expansive portfolio of Air Force 1 colorways and full family sizing, there really is an AF1 shoe for everyone out there. The popularity owing to how universal this shoe is also inspired concept artists to this day to come up with work such as this Air Force 1 low Reverse University Blue V2.
Coming to the design of this shoe, a deep blue hue, reminiscent but darker than the regular University Blue covers the uppers on this sneaker. Dark blue leather appears on the toes, the side panels that feature two small ventilation holes, and on the heel overlays. The perforated toe boxes also don a similar color, matching the leather eye stays that are situated right above. The throats on this Air Force 1 also features the titular hue while wrapped up in clean white traditional laces.
The bottom of the laces, as with most Air Force 1s, features a blue lace ornament with AF1 branding. Moving up, blue tongues are contrasted by crisp white tags that are detailed by black Air Force 1 branding. Sock liners are also white and lead down to white interiors which, if we use our imagination, likely leads down to white inserts with more AF1 branding. The side panels feature a contrasting white leather Swoosh while blue midsoles and crisp white outsoles finish off the look.
