A Tweaked Retro-Nike Air Force 1 Low Reverse University Blue

It is quite easy to find a number of Air Force 1 Lows as the paneling allows for so much customizability. In fact, “Nike By You” is an initiative taken by Nike to bring custom sneakers to its customers, thus giving people exactly what they want. As a result, Air Force 1s are crafted specifically to the taste of their consumers which is what makes the sneaker so popular. Concept artists are also kind of doing the same but they don’t need help from the Swoosh to come up with their wonderful works of art. This time, we present the Air Force 1 Low Reverse University Blue concept!

It would be an understatement to say that there are many various colors and styles of the Air Force 1. There are 2000 various varieties of these shoes, which are available in practically all sizes and forms. That is perhaps the reason why celebrities with extremely diverse perceptions of style, including Travis Scott, Justin Bieber, Justin Timberlake, and many more, wear them out in public for everyone to see. Everybody can find their perfect Air Force 1! That’s probably the reason why the Swoosh and concept artists alike keep releasing a variety of fresh colors. Although not great for resale, luckily you don’t need to treat these works of art as potential investments since they’re meant to be purely for visual pleasure.

Coming to the design of this Air Force 1 Low Reverse University Blue, the uppers feature a combination of white and University Blue shades. The latter is a homage by Nike to Michael Jordan’s alma mater, the University of North Carolina. Blue leather covers the toes, side panels, and the heel overlays as well as the stitching which blends in nicely. The perforated toe boxes are also blue leather and sit underneath crisp white leather eye stays. Throats, on the other hand, are blue and wrapped up in traditional black laces.

Moving up, we find a pair of titular UNC blue tongues with clean white tags and white “Air Force 1” branding. Interiors and sock liners, on the other hand, feature a black shade that complements the laces and likely leads down to white inserts with blue or black branding. White leather Swooshes on the lateral sides extend into the blue leather heel tabs while jet black midsoles and clean white outsoles finish off the design.
