Air Jordan 13 ‘Red Flint’

The return of the highly accredited Air Jordan 13 (OG Blue) ‘Flint’ earlier this year had catapulted the 13’s back in to discussions. All of a sudden, Air Jordan 13’s are not only highly dieserable, but often sell out early, resulting in hefty resell value. We predict that the all-new Air Jordan 13 ‘Red Flint’ with follow suit of it’s previous blue counterpart. Here we take a closer look.

Jordan Brand have confirmed that they have various Air Jordan 13 colourways set to drop over the next few months and into early 2021. We have covered some of the most anticipated, so be sure to check out our previous articles on the Air Jordan 13 ‘Gold Glitter’, ‘Reverse Bred’ and ‘Court Purple’. It has been confirmed that Jordan Brand are set to drop the ‘Red Flint’ on May 1st 2021, although this may be delayed.

It goes without saying that the ‘Red Flint’ colourway is almost identical, bar the detailing on the tongue, to the much celebrated Kevin Martin’s Rockets PE (Player Exclusive) circa 2009. Although Kevin may be displeased to find out that his sneakers are essentially going to general release, the rest of the world is over the moon.

Let’s face it, the ‘Red Flint’ Jordan 13 look epic, the only question is, are they better than the blue OG? The two sneakers are identical bar the fact that the upper seems to have a direct swap from blue to red. The soft grey velvet that wraps from the midsole up to the midfoot looks as though it has been made from the most premium of materials and is the unique flint signature. The upper is also upholstered with soft buttery leather from the toe box up towards a perforated tongue to offer comfort and breathability.

The sneakers also offers a black slim line outsole that is not so apparent unless you have a keen eye for attention to detail. The black sole is a great touch as it balances the shoe well, all whilst adding a layer of protection to keep dirt away from the fresh white midsole.

This is for sure a release to look out for and we feel that the sneaker will be released in the full sizing range from grade school to adults. The Air Jordan 13’s are now becoming a popular silhouette and if you are yet to own a pair, we highly recommend the ‘Red Flint’.
