In actuality, we are facing a shortage of futuristic colorways for the Air Jordan 4. We have had a fair sum for the Air Force 1 Low and Air Max 90 by Nike but thankfully, the concept artists have us covered when it comes to satisfying our curiosity about how the Jordan 4 would look with a futuristic makeover. Presenting, the Air Jordan 4 Cyber Metal that joins Cyber Teal hues with a faded effect with Gun Metal Grey all over the uppers. These are unexpectedly absolute fire!
Few shoes are still, more in demand than the Air Jordan 4, and as a consequence, they have a decent resale value. Even the very popular Air Jordan 1 occasionally doesn’t go for the same price or isn’t as well-liked, especially if it’s not a distinctive colorway like the UNC or Bred. The Air Jordan 4 even with original colorways are now selling out and reselling for decent profit margins, such as the recent Air Jordan 4 Canyon Purple. However, since we have not really seen colorways that are futuristic like this concept, it is difficult to assume how fans would respond to such a release.
Coming to the design of the Air Jordan 4 Cyber Metal, dark grey leather covers the majority of the upper with Cyber Teal hits on parts of the overlays. Dark Gun Metal Grey covers the toes, mudguards, eye stays, and the rear quarters in a tumbled leather material. Toe boxes are also dark grey leather and lead up to jet-black throats that are so dark that you can almost miss spotting the netted mesh paneling. These panels are wrapped up by black traditional laces that are attached to 4 metallic teal eyelet panels.
Moving up, signature large tongues are covered by black tags and teal Jump-Man branding. Sock liners are also teal while black sock liners lead down to black interiors and likely black inserts with contrasting Jordan Branding. Rears appear to feature grey heel pieces, complementing the leather triangular pieces on the sides that overlay the black mesh side netting. Black midsoles with a teal hit with variating intensity along with matching outsoles that give off a futuristic vibe finish off the design.
