The Air Jordan 4 remains a fan favorite, possibly even more so than the iconic Air Jordan 1 when we talk about both sneakers in 2022. Sneakers like the Air Jordan 3 and 5 are also great but they’ve lost much of their appeal in recent times as the Air Jordan 4 just releases with better and better colorways. A lot of these colorways are retros of very popular OG sneakers that cost an arm and leg currently on the secondary market. With the rise of the Air Jordan 4, concepts are also on the rise and now, we present to you the stealthy Air Jordan 4 Gun Metal Graphite. An alluring mix between black and dark grey.
The Air Jordan 4 is currently the best-selling Air Jordan 4 on the secondary market when it comes to profitability. A large reason for that is the retro releases as well as the relatively limited stock that gets released when you compare them to the demand. They get sold out within minutes if not seconds. If Jordan Brand released an Air Jordan with hues such as this concept, however, this might be the next UNC (the ultra-popular colorway that was released back in 2021). The only colorway that is kind of reminiscent of this Air Jordan 4 is the Infrared which features black and grey shades with hints of Infrared.
Coming to the design of this seriously hued concept, uppers feature black and grey exclusively. Black leather covers the toes as usual and reaches out onto the side panels and the rear quarters. Toe boxes are also black that blend right in and sit below the graphite mesh paneling which is a dark grey shade that adds to the stealthy appearance. This paneling features black backgrounds and are overlain by traditional grey laces that also blends in nicely. Furthermore, large black tongues are detailed by dark grey tags with black Jump-Man logos.
Tongue liners are also grey and match the sock liners that lead into more grey interiors. Although we don’t have an angle, as usual, you can bet that you’ll find grey or black inserts with additional branding. Heel tabs, on the other hand, are slightly visible with a black shade and likely additional embossed Jordan branding. Coming to the sides, more mesh paneling can be seen, complementing the throats and the triangular leather pieces on the sides. Black midsoles with grey pieces and titular outsoles finish off the look. For more content such as this, stay tuned!
