Recently, we’ve been covering more Air Jordan 4 concepts and that’s largely thanks to the plethora of options available, a few of which are starting to feature Paisley patterns that first emerged a year or so ago. That seems to have stuck not only with artists but also with fans as popularity of them has encouraged more art to emerge. This time, artists blend the Paisley patterns with a color that is associated with a city in France which has inspired other sneaker colorways as well. Presenting, the Air Jordan 4 Paisley Bordeaux. An elegant mix of eastern patterns on top of a French-popular shade.
Although not confirmed, these sneakers are seemingly inspired by the colors associated with Bordeaux. Bordeaux is famous for its wine and which is where the hue comes from and is often associated with luxury and as well. Paisley, as we’ve covered before, originated in the East and goes back hundreds of years. The fusion of these two style choices is quite alluring and we can’t wait to see what concept artists have in store for us in the future. This Air Jordan 4 Paisley Bordeaux is definitely a contender for the coolest concepts on the Air Jordan 4 so far in 2022.
Coming to the design, uppers feature a combination of white, Bordeaux, and red hues. Bordeaux appears on the leather mudguards first that feature embroidered red Paisley patterns. This is perhaps the main distinguishing factor of this Air Jordan 4 concept. White leather toe boxes spread out onto the sides of the sneakers and merge onto the rears. Moving up, netted mesh panels in a matching maroon hue are wrapped up in traditional Bordeaux laces that are attached to 4 metallic grey eyelet panels.
Moving up further, you’ll find a pair of large white leather tongues with Bordeaux tags and black Jump-Man logos on each sneaker. The tongues are contrasted by red sock liners and tongue liners that likely lead down to more Bordeaux interiors and inserts with more branding. Heel tabs that are barely visible also likely feature more embossed branding either in white, black, or a Bordeaux hue. Side profiles feature more mesh netting, complementing the throats. These feature white backgrounds while overlain by more Bordeaux leather triangular pieces that are attached to the eyelet panels. Bordeaux/white midsoles with exposed Air units and matching white outsoles with titular hits complete the design. For similar content, stay tuned!
