A Rich New Colorway- The Air Jordan 4 Royal Purple

Getting your hands on a pair of Air Jordan 4s for the retail price is getting harder and harder thanks to the increase in the hype that was potentially caused by the surge of popular original and retro colorways that sold out within seconds on the Nike SNKRS app. Thankfully, you do not have to pay to look at incredible works of art on the Air Jordan 4, such as on this brand-new concept. Presenting, the Air Jordan 4 Royal Purple! An elegant colorway fitting of a women’s exclusive but also just as admirable in a potential full-family size release!

The Air Jordan 4 has a rich history behind it which contributes to the sneaker’s often staggering resale values and instant sell-outs. Tinker Hatfield, who has worked on over 30 Air Jordans starting from the Air Jordan 3, had the lofty task of outdoing himself after creating what many believe is MJ’s personal favorite. Thankfully, the Jordan 4 was also a raging success owing to its design and build quality which many at the time saw as premium. In fact, it was one of the most expensive sneakers at the time but the price, according to many, was justified. Today, we continue to see art inspired by it even decades later such as this Air Jordan 4 Royal Maroon.

Coming to the design of this shoe, uppers are seemingly constructed with premium textured leather in a dark purple hue that reminds us of royalty and gives off an almost rich maroon tinge. Dark purple covers the toe boxes, mudguards, and the side panels along with the rears. Throats are covered by mesh netting in a matching hue that blends right in if not for the texture. These throats are wrapped up by traditional laces that are attached to leather eye stays as well as 4 metallic pink eyelet panels.

Moving up, tongues are also maroon with lighter shaded liners and white tags that are embellished by matching Royal Purple Jump-Man logos. Sock liners also carry the same titular hue, as do the interiors that likely lead down to white or titular inserts with additional branding. Rears also likely feature more embossed Jordan branding while the sides feature more mesh netted paneling and leather triangular heel pieces. White midsoles with indigo hits and titular outsoles finish off the design. For more content such as this and more, stay tuned!
