A Decent Color Combination!- The Air Max 270 React Bordeaux

The Air Max 270 React is not a sneaker that we see too often, and although it does have its own cult following, these Air Max sneakers are often left in the shadows of the Air Force 1 low, the Air Max 90, Air Max 1, and even the Air Max 97. However, the 270 React’s popularity among its cult following remains strong and they’ll welcome any new concept that’s presented to them. This time, artists keep things simple with a close-to-OG Air Max 270 in a familiar University Red-like colorway. Presenting, the Nike Air Max 270 React Reverse University Red! These kicks feature a white, black, and red color scheme which we must say, suits this silhouette well.

If there are any commonalities between the Air Max 270 and the 270 React, they are subtly noticeable. Both shoes have the same ankle height, tongue, pull tab, and usage of micro Swooshes, however, the AM 270 React has a significantly more complicated top. With contemporary overlays that resemble the Air Max 92s and 98s of the sneaker industry, I’m sure you can detect the influences of the 1990s throughout the upper. Obviously, the 270 Air Bubble on the heel and the React foam, two of Nike’s most cutting-edge innovations, are the shoe’s two distinguishing characteristics. Which has partly led to its popularity, inspiring concept artists to produce masses of new work, such as this Air Max 270 React Reverse University Red.

A crisp white hue covers the entire upper with the exception of a few red and black hits. The bar track method is apparently used yet again with barely visible underlays. A sheet-like overlay covers the toes while a black strip runs along the side panels and on the rears that feature more branding. Matching the side black hits are black leather eye stays and attached to them, are white lace hoops.

White throats lead up to a pair of matching white tongues with “270” branding and also reveal white sock liners and interiors that likely lead down to more branding. Matching white heel pulls complement the design while the most contrast is provided by the titular University Red Swooshes on the sides, constructed with the aforementioned bar track technique. Finally, white midsoles with exposed Air Units along with white rugged outsoles finish off the design.
