We have had a few peculiar designs before with concept art and although that’s also the case this time, it appears to be quite an attractive one with this latest addition. Nike sneakers are perhaps one of the most popular on the market right now whether it’s for running, basketball, or football and the Air Max 90 is likewise one of their most popular silhouettes which inspire loads of concept art such as this Air Max 90 Black Panther that features a combination of grey hues with spotted black mesh.
The Air Max 90 is still very much in style and many people around the world want them in their wardrobes. A few reasons for that is firstly the oversized Air Bubble which is one of the most comfortable cushioning systems that you will ever wear. We can vouch for that! Secondly, it is the sneaker’s rich history but thirdly and perhaps most importantly, these kicks are highly customizable leading to an array of fresh designs by Nike. Because of this, concept artists are also able to push out more work like this Air Max 90 Black Panther.
Seemingly inspired by a black panther, this Air Max 90 concept is constructed with a mix of mesh and leather as usual. As a side note, although seemingly all black, the black panther actually has a spotted coat at closer inspection, much like the overlays on this concept. Wolf Grey leather covers the toes while jet black mudguards extend all the way to the rears with grey cutouts that feature white embossed Air Max branding. The toe boxes are black mesh with visible black spots that complement the similarly constructed collars with the spots being slightly darker for a distinguished appearance.
Moving up, grey lower leather eye stays are tucked underneath dark olive plastic eyelet panels which is a peculiar choice but works out fine in this case. Grey throats are covered in black traditional laces while matching grey tongues are separated by black tags and contrasting white Nike Air branding with Swooshes. Sock liners and interiors are also jet black while likely leading down to more grey or black inserts with white Nike Air branding. With a sneak peek we can also make out the rears which appear to don grey heel pieces, probably with more embossed branding. White cropped Swooshes add contrast to the sides while grey midsoles and outsoles finish off the design. For more concepts such as this, stay tuned!
