You guessed it! We’re back with yet another custom Nike Air Max 90 for the Slate Pack. However this time, it is a women’s exclusive – sorry gents! Here we have the all-new Nike Air Max 90 ‘Pink Slate’. Following the reveal of the custom Nike Air Max ‘Crimson Slate’ and ‘Volt Slate’, the new ‘Pink Slate’ follows suit and showcases the Slate Pack color blocking. It must be said that the rise of the Air Max range is in full effect, we have seen Nike start to push some serious heat through the release calander and it has been highly welcomed by all. The most sought-after and rightly so, has to be the upcoming Travis Scott Cactus Jack x Nike Air Max 1 which is set to drop later this year. With that being said, the hype is real and we can see exactly why this new mock-up collection is slowly becoming a modern fan-favourite.
Now, let’s get into the closer details. Female sneakerheads will be pleased to know that this will be women’s exclusive, closing the doors on all larger sized male sneakerheads. In true ‘Slate Pack’ traditions, the new Nike Air Max 90 ‘Pink Slate’ arrives predominantly in an all-over gunmetal grey base. Featuring traditional mesh surrounding the toe-box, rubber lace tabs and leather side panels. The bold pink accents are seriously eye-catching and can be found on the inner ankle lining, Nike Air tongue and side panel branding, and of course within the unique Nike side swoosh logo. The intertwined bouquet of roses is an effect which has never been seen before from Nike and one which we hope to become a reality within the near future.
For now, the Nike Air Max 90 ‘Pink Slate’ is the third and perhaps final addition to the contemporary ‘Slate Pack’. Although they are all custom mock-ups, creative sneaker customizers should be able to put their talent to the test make this a reality.
