Hot and Cold!- The Air Max 90 Royal Flame

Concept artists have done it again with a new banger that we are desperately hoping that Nike takes notes from. Even after years of release and constant barrages of Air Max 90 colorways and concepts, the talented artist continues to bring us hits with new combinations that are partly inspired by original releases and partly completely original. Presenting the Nike Air Max 90 Royal Flame which fuses black leather and mesh with Game Royal fire graphics all over! With colorways such as this, the Air Max 90 could go back to being one of the most anticipated releases of the year.

The Air Max 90 has seen a recent decline in resale value and sales, owing to the slew of releases by Nike and the introduction of other colorways. Still, they are one of Nike’s best releases but cannibalized by other sneakers in Nike’s expansive portfolio. On the plus side, this means that they are easier to pick up and buy rather than scouring the secondary market for a decently priced pair. You could actually even walk into a store and pick up the latest Air Max colorway without many issues!

Coming to the design of this Air Max 90 Royal Flame concept, uppers on this sneaker are made with mesh and leather in a black and Game Royal color scheme. Uppers feature leather black toes and side panels, however, the highlight of the shoe is the graphics on top which consist of Game Royal flame graphics that Nike has yet to implement as it works out here perfectly.

Toe boxes are black mesh which is a breathable material and also implemented on most Air Max 90s and complements the similarly constructed collars. The lower eye stays, as usual, are leather and lead up to nylon black throats that are wrapped up in matching black traditional laces. Tongues on this concept are also black with contrasting Game Royal tags and black Nike Air branding. Sock liners too are Game Royal and lead down to matching interiors with likely blue inserts and additional black Nike branding. Mudguards, on the other hand, are jet black and only disturbed by black cut-outs with embossed titular Air Max branding. Though not visible, we can also spot Game Royal heel pieces that feature more embossed branding. Cropped blue leather Swooshes cover the sides while black midsoles with blue Air Units and blue rugged outsoles complete the design. For similar content, stay tuned!
