The Nike Air Force 1 has to be one of the most well-known and sought-after sneakers in the world. So much so, that it is highly likely to come across someone wearing a pair on almost any outing into public. Since its original release in 1982, the Nike Air Force 1 has been a staple for many people with the two major go-to’s being the classic all-white or all-black pair. Shoes which have no doubt claimed sneaker hall of fame status. Although the classic’s are great, there are many other colorways which get a lot of people excited! Here we take a closer look at one which could very well cause up a stir, here is the Nike Air Force 1 ‘Mono Pink’ – an exclusive custom mock-up provided by Sneakez.
Upon first glance, the sneaker looks as though it could be a womens exclusive release, due to the pink additions. However that is not the case and after all, who said guys can’t wear pink! The upper of the shoe consist of a white, black and pink colourway. The forefront and lacing ladder arrives in white, whilst the rear heel, and inside ankle lining is detailed in black. The monochrome colour casting is always a good choice when it comes to the Air Force 1, and this is enhanced on the ‘Mono Pink’ with some baby pink accenting. The Nike side swoosh showcases the baby pink hue, in addition to the Nike Air branding embroidered on to the tongue tab.
The lower half of the Nike Air Force 1 ‘Mono Pink’ features soft pink midsole matching the swoosh. Whilst the outsole displays a slightly darker and brighter pink, a good choice seeing as it offers the shoe more depth and allows for more confidence on daily use – the darker the outsole, the easier to keep clean!
Almost any Nike Air Force 1 custom can be made into reality, with thanks to creative designers and Nike ID scheme. That being said, it wouldn’t be too farfetched to see these in real life some time soon.
