The Air Jordan 4 ‘Azure’ – Jumpman’s Brand New Disposition

Ladies and Gentlemen, feast your eyes on this exciting new concept colorway. I know your pupils are probably dilated by now but keep reading to see what this concept has in store for you. A lot of creative heads were bumped together to create this concept, and we hope you enjoy reading about it as much as we did creating it.

The Air Jordan 4 – designed by Tinker Hatfield back in 1989 – arrives in a striking “Azure” concept colorway. Recently, the market has seen releases of the Air Jordan 4 in colorways such as “University Blue” and “White Oreo,” and to honor the iconic sneaker, we’ve come up with this design.

The Air Jordan 4 has come a long way since its inception back in 1989 when it was released in simply a “White” and a “Bred”  colorway. As we shift from the past to the present, let’s get into the details of this conceptual design.

“Azure” comes in a primary Black colorway with hints of blue, white, and red. The sneaker features a black leather upper with mesh grills on the laterals and the throat of the sneaker. The mesh grills are barely visible as the black leather upper doesn’t leave much room for contrast.

However, the Jumpman logo printed on the tongue in blue lifts the mood and adds contrast to the black leather. The same color scheme is followed onto the toe cap and outsole. The moniker of the sneaker comes from the subtle blue hits that work in harmony with the Black leather.

The red hits on the eyestays take inspiration from the Air Jordan 4 “Red Thunder” that is set to release later during the year. The red colorway atop a black leather upper reminds me of the iconic Bred colorway made famous by the classic Chicago Bulls jersey. I am a fan of the dark black laces with grey eyelets – it gives the sneaker that moodiness and mystery it so deserves.

“Azure” is the perfect concept colorway for the Air Jordan 4. While your feet might be itching to wear the sneaker, it’s unfortunately just a concept.

But hopefully, one day this concept becomes a reality for all of us to see and hold. Till then, we’ll keep bringing you more and more of these distinctive and exciting-looking concepts. Therefore, stay tuned and make sure to follow us.
