The Nike Air Jordan 4 ‘Club Teal’

Following the vast popularity of our last Air Jordan 4 mock up, we are back with yet another which is equally set to turn some heads. The Nike Air Jordan 4 ‘Club Teal’ is once again a refreshing take on the OG silhouette. It must be said that the original Nike Air Jordan 4 ‘Bred’ is amongst the most treasured sneakers in Jordan history and although this new mock-up is somewhat reminiscent of the OG, it for sure arrives with it’s own ‘wow factor’.

First things first, the colourway of this concept is one which is never seen before on any retro OG Jordan. The Nike Air Jordan 4 ‘Club Teal’ arrives in a jet-black, grey, white and volt teal colourway. The upper is predominately jet-black and has been finished using tumbled leather, a go-to material for the Air Jordan 4. The side mesh cages also arrive in black which gives the sneaker a perfect look, although it’s one small feature, we can’t help but feel that the sneaker would be ruined if it were to arrive in any other colour. As always with the Air Jordan 4, shiny metallic lace tabs can be found on all four corners of the lace ladder, and they have been finished in a gun-metal grey varnish. The lace tabs compliment the toe guard which surrounds the toe-box, the only other grey feature on the sneaker.

Let’s talk about the volt teal! Eye-catching yet subtle, the volt teal colour hue can be found on the signature heel tab, laces, outsole and traditional Jumpman logo on the tongue. We appreciate that this colour has been limited to these few details as such as bold and vibrant hue can often have unfavourable effects if overused. The Nike Air Jordan 4 ‘Club Teal’ has landed with a white midsole which perfectly separates the upper and outsole. As is often the case, the white midsole provides the sneaker with a sense of balance and rounds off the aesthetic of the sneaker perfectly. A feature often overlooked and underappreciated.

Although this is just a mock up by Custom Kicks, there are some possibilities for general releases that are reminiscent of the Nike Air Jordan 4 ‘Club Teal’. Stay tuned as we will be back with some more fire concepts very soon!
