A Tweaked New Look-The Air Force 1 low Royal Pink Quartz

New Air Force 1 Low colorways are endless. Whether by Nike or concept artists, there’s no limit to how many color schemes you can apply to this paneling that has practically been designed for customizability. We’ve covered a myriad of concept art before such as the stealthy Air Force 1 Low Dark Charcoal that dons grey and black hues as well sneakers on the other side of the spectrum such as the AF1 Low Electric Green. Now, artists indulge in rich maroon and salmon hues yet again with this brand-new addition. Presenting, the Air Force 1 Low Royal Pink Quartz!

Before these sneakers were released, Nike urged their designers to create one of the best basketball shoes on the market with an implemented Air Unit. Designers took inspiration from the cult classic Nike Tailwind that was released a few years before as well as the rugged Nike Approach hiking boot which is what inspired the AF1’s relatively thick sole units. Bruce Kilgore approached fellow Nike employee and future designing legend Tinker Hatfield to stress test it. He was so impressed that it converted him from being an architect to being a successful sneaker designer that went on to design the Air Jordan 3 and many more.

Likewise, it has possibly inspired many artists as well that went on to make concepts such as this Air Force 1 Low Royal Pink Quartz. Featuring a Royal Maroon, pink, and dark salmon color tone, these sneakers set themselves apart by using this unusual color combination. Uppers feature Dark salmon leather toes while side panels indulge in a lighter pink hue. Dark salmon also appears on the heel overlays while more pink appears on the perforated toe boxes. The eye stays feature the first hits of royal maroon that really pop relative to the other pastel color tones. Throats are also light pink and wrapped in royal maroon overlays.

Moving up, you’ll find pink tongues with maroon tongue tags with black “Nike” and “Air Force 1” texts. Sock liners and interiors also indulge in a royal maroon color tone, complementing the lateral side leather Swooshes. These Swooshes extend all the way to the heel tabs that are just slightly visible enough for us to make out a pastel pink hue. These likely feature additional dark maroon embroidered branding. Dark maroon midsoles with embossed Air branding and light pink outsoles finish off the design.
